I grew up on Vancouver Island and spent seven years in the public service before photography became my full-time focus. My background in social work and disability support informs how I move through a wedding day: how I read people, navigate emotional spaces, and know when to step in and when to step back. I started with a strong technical foundation, but truthfully, most of what I have learned has come through real life experience. I am genuinely grateful to the people who stepped in front of my lens early on and embraced their vulnerability.

Wedding days are my favourite. The energy is unmatched, and it is always an honour to be part of something so significant in someone's life. I shoot a blend of documentary and editorial using light prompts rather than overly structured posing. I work in both digital and film, and I love what film adds to a wedding gallery: the character, the feel, the intention behind each frame.
